29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers is not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it is stable and secure against sliding and collapse: a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent struck-by, trip, and fall hazards as demonstrated on or about June 5, 2019, in the back storage room, where employees move and retrieve stock. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure boxed merchandise that is in storage is less than 7 feet in height and arranged in a stable manner to prevent it from falling onto or in the path of employees.
