29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): A portable ladder was used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a) 1192 Foster St. NW, Atlanta GA, The Howard School: On or about May 29, 2019 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall from height (approximately 11 feet and 9 inches), in that the an extension ladder (Werner D6200-2 Series) used for ascending and descending the roofing area was two feet instead of the required three feet above the steel beam area for the roof.
