29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii): Special hand tools for placing and removing material was not provided to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone. Such tools shall not be in lieu of other guarding required by this section, but can only be used to supplement protection provided: On or about May 23, 2019, and at times prior thereto, at a workplace located at 1470 Avenue T, Grand Prairie, Texas; employees operating brake presses without sufficient guarding to prevent exposure to crushed-by and amputation hazards, where employee fingers and/or hands entered into the point of operation during the operation cycle.
