29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): ("Specific requirements.")(Extensible and articulating boom platforms.) Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position. On May 21, 2019, located at a commercial structure, employees were performing elevated truss grid work while standing on the mid- and top-rails of a JLG 450AJ articulating boom lift without use of an effective fall protection system. Potential fall heights were determined to be greater than 13 feet above ground level.
