29 CFR 1926.407(b): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not approved as intrinsically safe or approved for the hazardous (classified) location or safe for the hazardous (classified) location: On or before April 3, 2019, an open flame heater flexible cord was daisy chained, and was not intrinsically safe for use in a Class I, Division 1 location by storing chemicals, such as, multiple regular/diesel gasoline containers, kerosene, propane, xylene, silicone sealant. Employees were exposed to an electrical ignition source, fire and explosion hazards.
