29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(a): Point of operation guard(s) on mechanical power press(es) did not prevent entry of hands or fingers into the point of operation by reaching through, over, under or around the guard(s): a. On or about April 3, 2019, in the production area, Clinton Press #5 (notcher) had inadequate guarding that would allow an employee's hand to reach the point of operation on the operator's side of the press. The employee was exposed to the hazards of inadequately guarded points of operation on the press. b. On or about April 3, 2019, in the production area, Federal Press #8 (notcher) had inadequate guarding that would allow an employee's hand to reach the point of operation on the operator's side of the press. The employee was exposed to the hazards of inadequately guarded points of operation on the press. c. On or about April 3, 2019, in the production area, Federal Press #7 had inadequate guarding that would allow an employee's hand to reach the point of operation on the operator's side of the press.
