29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Building exterior East side: Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 15 to 20 feet while installing plywood sheeting from the window seal on a new residential construction, without the use of personal fall arrest system or other means of fall protection in place, on or about 3/28/2019. b) Building exterior North side: An employee was exposed to a fall hazard of 10 feet while installing plywood sheeting on a balcony of a new residential construction, without the use of personal fall arrest system or other means of fall protection in place, on or about 3/28/2019. The Express Construction Carpentry was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1079116 citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/16/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1240 River Rd Edgewater, NJ 07020.
