29 CFR 1910.1026(h)(1): Where a hazard was present or was likely to be present from skin or eye contact with chromium (VI), the employer did not provide appropriate personal protective clothing and equipment at no cost to employees, and did not ensure that employees used such clothing and equipment: a) On or about January 16, 2019, Faurecia Emissions Control System NA, LLC did not provide appropriate personal protective clothing where a hazard was present for employees exposed to chromium (VI). The personal protective equipment provided by the employer, for protection against general welding hazards, did not prevent chromium (VI) from being deposited on the employees' street clothing. Employees working in regulated areas such as, but not limited to, C520 Muffler, V363 Hot End, and V363 Muffler conducting welding operations had visual contamination of their street clothing.
