29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(vii): The brakes shall be set and outriggers, when used, shall be positioned on pads or a solid surface. Wheel chocks shall be installed before using an aerial lift on an incline. The employer is failing to protect employees from the hazards such as but not limited to falls from elevated levels, tip-overs, electrical shock and entanglement associated with tree trimming activities. This was most recently documented on October 19, 2018 at the jobsite located at 8209 Garfield Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas. Employee(s) were working from the bucket of an aerial lift truck approximately 45 feet from ground and the outriggers were not positioned on pads or a solid surface.
