29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(iii): Employees who participated as hazardous materials technicians, or were expected to participate as hazardous materials technicians, had not received at least 24 hours of training equal to the first responder operations level, and in addition have competency in the areas outlined in 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(iii)(A) through (q)(6)(iii)(I) and/or the employer did not so certify: a) 50 Howard Street, Piscataway, NJ 08854 - Stericycle/Warehouse Employee(s) responded to a bulging drum containing hazardous, corrosive chemicals such as but not limited to nitric, sulfuric and nitric acids, which was visibly under pressure, without the employer certifying that employee(s) received adequate training. This condition exposed the employee(s) to fume explosion hazards, released from the bulging drum. Violation occurred on or about 10/12/2018. WRITTEN ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
