29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(3): Ladders were loaded beyond their manufacturer's rated capacity: a) Garage Roof - An employee accessing the second story roof from the first story roof was exposed to fall hazards from using a ladder that was rated for less than the intended load, on or about September 26th, 2018. NOTE: The maximum intended load, as defined in 1910.21(b), includes the total load (weight and force) of the employee and all tools, equipment, and materials being carried. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
