29 CFR 1910.147(d)(2): The machine or equipment was not turned off or shut down using the procedures established for the machine or equipment: a) Venter Area of 1875 Harbeson Road, Harbeson, Delaware - On or about Aug 20, 2018, the employer failed to ensure employees turned off or shut down equipment, using the procedures established for the machine or equipment, prior to engaging in servicing or maintenance, of the chicken hanger line in the Venter Area. Employees untangling hangers on the chicken line while in operation, were exposed to amputation hazards.
