29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1): The employer did not verify compliance with paragraph (a) of this section by preparing a written (training) certification record including the name or other identity of the employee trained, the date(s) of the training, and the signature of the person who conducted the training or the signature of the employer. a) On or about July 24, 2018, the employer failed to certified that the employees conducting roofing activities on the flat roof of the building locate at 1260 Palm Coast Pkwy SW in Palm Coast Florida, working and walking exposed to a fall of more than six (6) feet to the ground, were properly trained by a competent person as necessary on fall protection to be able to recognize nature of the fall hazards in the work area and in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards.
