29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and rollers. WORKSHOP: The ingoing nip point created by the rollers of the rolling machine, unknown identification was not guarded by a barrier guard and/or devices. On/or about July 23, 2018, an employee's right hand was pulled into the ingoing nip point while performing cleaning rollers of the above machine, and the employee sustained crushing injuries to fingers.
