29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. (a) ContractOne, Inc. at 105 Base Camp Circle, Granby, CO 80446: On or before June 14, 2018, the employer did not ensure that employees wore safety glasses when exposed to flying particles. Employees cut a section of the asphalt roadway using a handheld powered circular saw without the use of safety glasses. This condition exposed employees to the hazard of being struck in the eyes and face with flying particles. (b) ContractOne, Inc. at 107 Base Camp Circle, Granby, CO 80446: On or before June 14, 2018, the employer did not ensure that employees wore safety glasses when exposed to flying particles.
