29 CFR 1910.334(c)(3): Test instruments and equipment and their accessories shall be rated for the circuits and equipment to which they will be connected and shall be designed for the environment in which they will be used: a) Kearny #12 gas compressor MCC Employees utilized a Fluke 787 multimeter rated for a maximum of 1000 volts to trouble shoot Siemen's MCC with a supply line voltage of 4160 volts. On 5/29/18, an employee was burned on both arms when his testing meter shorted causing an arc flash after touching 4160V line to ground. Condition occurred on or about 5/29/2018
