29 CFR 1910.141(g)(2): Employees were permitted to consume food or beverage in area(s) exposed to toxic materials: The employer does not ensure employees do not consume food or beverages in areas exposed to toxic materials. This violation was observed on or about June 14, 2018 in the quarter inch draw area, where employees weld and grind wire, clean wire using hydrochloric acid and coat wire with flux before galvanizing it. Employees are exposed to hazards associated with chemicals.
