29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(6): Unsecured ladder(s) were used on surfaces that were not stable and level: a- 370 & 372 Ocean Avenue, Lakewood NJ: Company worksite workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 6 feet to the ground surface below, when using unsecured, portable, aluminum extension ladders that were set on surfaces that were not stable. Condition observed on or about 04/18/18. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
