29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii): Special hand tools for placing and removing material(s) was not provided to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger The employer is failing to protect employees from caught between hazards associated with lack of tools and inadequate work procedures. The most recent occurrence of this was found at the facility located at 1204 Jones St. Omaha, NE where the employer has employees opening the Plexiglas door and reaching into the Bettcher Dyna-Form meat press to fill the meat log form or to remove the finished meat logs from the forms without having provided a tool to use and prevent this unnecessary exposure.
