29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s) (Agriculture Reference: 1928.21(a)(5)): a. The employer failed to maintain in the workplace an ammonia safety data sheet (SDS). An ammonia SDS was not available to employees at the work site. b. The employer failed to maintain in the workplace an SDS on Biophene. Biophene contained chemicals with hazardous warnings, "Danger," "Flammable," "may be severely irritating to the eyes," "ortho-benzyl-para-chlorophenol is listed as a known carcinogen by IARC (2B)." Abatement documentation is required for this violation.
