29 CFR 1910.136(a): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used protective footwear when working in areas where there was a danger of foot injuries due to falling or rolling objects: Employees, including die cast operators, process techs, machinists, and maintenance men, were not required to where protective footwear during die cast operations, where heavy equipment, parts, and materials were handled, including the use of cranes, and where foot injuries have occurred.
