29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of Carbon monoxide listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 50 ppm: a) On or about 1/16/2018 at the establishment located on 5911 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Blvd., Tampa, FL, an employee cleaning the inside of a chemical transporting tank was exposed to 2,418.6 ppm of carbon monoxide (CO) over a 30 minute time period, based on the carboxyhemoglobin level in the employee's blood. This is equivalent to an 8-hour TWA exposure of 151.2 ppm, which is 3.02 times the OSHA-PEL of 50 ppm.
