Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards: a) At Asphalt Services, Spanish Fort, Alabama: On or about January 26, 2018 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to work from and transit to and from a pallet elevated by a forklift and the pallet was not secured to the forklift exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 10 feet 11 inches to the ground below.
