29 CFR 1926.451(g)(2): The employer did not provide fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds. a) Employees were exposed to 100 ft fall hazard when working and accessing the tubular welded frame scaffold. Employees were using a single lanyard personnel fall arrest system when working and moving on the scaffold. The 6' lanyard did not provide continuous fall protection as the employees were working on the scaffold. Employees would have to disconnect to keep moving and working on the scaffold. --- Employer did not ensure that employees use fall protection during scaffold erecting activities; Location: 422 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, N.Y.
