29 CFR 1910.179(n)(3)(x): The employer did not insure that the operator does not leave his position at the controls while the load is suspended. (a) L&R 25 Ton Over Head Crane (Serial No. 12745); West Bay South Corner: On or about October 16, 2017, employees would disengage from remote controlled crane controls to scrape the slag off the edge of a suspended steel plate load, exposing them to a crushing and struck-by hazard.
