29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On September 26, 2017, at the development off of Pray Boulevard (The Colony at Waterville Landing), Waterville, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while installing asphalt shingles of a residential type structure. Employees working in this condition were exposed falls of 8 ft. fall to the ground below. Casey Bortles, was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1066332, repeat citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 14, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 2861 Woods Edge, Perrysburg, Ohio. Casey Bortles, was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 962398, serious citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 16, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 7664 Lonetree Court, Maumee, Ohio.
