29 CFR 1910.178(o)(1): Only stable or safely arranged loads shall be handled. Caution shall be exercised when handling off-center loads which cannot be centered. On August 22, 2017, the Twin Spindle CNC machine weighing approximately 37,840 pounds was not centered on the forks of the Versa 25/35 forklift nor was caution exercised when handling the off centered load to prevent employees from getting under the off center load to stabilize the load.
