North Carolina General Statue 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees condition of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a)Migrant farm workers exposed to live electrical parts as fuse box in sleeping area has exposed wiring due to lack of blank spacers not installed in open areas of fuse box. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement to correct this hazard is to provide correctly installed blank spacers in the fuse box. Weekly inspection should take place by employer to ensure proper electrical maintenance and use of electrical appliances and facilities.
