29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(x): 29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(x): Flexible cords and cables were not protected from accidental damage, as might be caused, for example, by sharp corners, projections, and doorways or other pinch points: a) On or about 07-17-2017 and times prior thereto, located at U.S. Postal Service Sandston Distribution Center, 5801 Technology Blvd. Sandston, VA 23150, Condition: Employee(s) were exposed to electrical and fire hazards from a temporary electrical cord supplying 110 Volts to a printer that was pinched between two desk tabletops at the FSS mail sorting maintenance workstation area. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
