29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2): Exit routes were not arranged so that employees did not have to travel toward a high hazard area, unless the path of travel was effectively shielded from the high hazard area by suitable partitions or other physical barriers. On or about May 24, 2017 and times prior thereto, at the worksite located at or near 190 Wilson Mill Road in Monticello, Arkansas, the optimized knot saw exit routes were arranged so employees had to travel on an energized, moving conveyor belt. This condition exposed employees to fall and struck by hazards.
