29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access. (a) Employees conducting roofing activities used a ladder to access the roof which did not extend at least three feet above the roof edge. The Carlos Ketz dba Ketz Roofing company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 925568, citation number 1, item number 2 a, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/02/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 1807 Marshall St. Manitowoc, WI 54220.
