29 CFR 1910.27(a): Scaffolds used in general industry did not meet the requirements in 29 CFR part 1926, subpart L (Scaffolds). In reference to: 29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iv): Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms without being specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use: a) Warehouse/Facility; On or about April 19, 2017, and at times prior, the employer required employees to work without fall protection from a job-made work platform (wood pallet with lumber stacked on top) that was being elevated by a Nissan 80 by UniCarries - Forklift that was not approved for use by the manufacturer exposing employees to fall hazards of up to twenty five (25) feet to the concrete ground below.
