29 CFR 1926.452(c)(2): Frames and panels were not braced by cross, horizontal, or diagonal braces, or combination thereof, which would secure vertical members together laterally, and the cross braces were not of such length as would automatically square. a) Worksite- 10 Pleasant Lane, Oyster Bay, NY- Employees were working from a three level, 15'3" scaffold installing brick veneer to the exterior of a residence. The vertical members of the scaffold were not secured. Only one side of the scaffold had crossbracing. There was no crossbracing installed on the sideclosest to the exterior wall; on or about 4/13/17. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
