Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and crush hazards: a) At Elberta Farmers Co-Op: On or about February 17, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employee to operate and load a powered industrial truck (Telehandler) onto a flat bed trailer without using a spotter as required by the manufacturer exposing the employee to crush hazards.
