29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about February 8, 2017, at Lot 57, 4419 Clubside Drive, Gainesville, Georgia: Four employees performing roofing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 11.2-feet when they used a 24-foot aluminum extension ladder that was not extended three feet above the porch roof landing.
