29 CFR 1910.176(c): Storage areas were not kept free from accumulation of materials that constituted hazards from tripping, fire, explosion or pest harborage: CHEMICAL STORAGE AREA: On or about and at times prior to February 14, 2017, containers of incompatible raw chemicals including, but not limited to sulfuric, hydrochloric, and selenious acids; ammonium and potassium hydroxides; hydrogen peroxide; nickel carbonate; and bronze oil; were stored together without secondary containment. Strong acids are not compatible with strong alkalis such as ammonium and potassium hydroxides, oxidizers and flammable/combustible liquids, and most metals.
