Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.454(a)(1): The employer failed to have each employee who performs work while on a scaffold trained regarding the nature of any electrical hazards, fall hazards and falling object hazards in the work area. Worksite: The employer did not ensure that the employees who were working from the metal frame scaffold platform at a height above 10 feet were trained to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used. Ronnie Demeo Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.454(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 962325, Citation Number 1, Item Number 3, issued on 04/29/2014 with respect to a workplace located at 470 Lewis Ave., Meriden, CT and became a final order on 05/22/2014.
