29 CFR 1910.29(b)(1): The top edge height of top rails, or equivalent guardrail system members, were not 42 inches, plus or minus 3 inches, above the walking-working surface: a) On or about 1/25/17 at the guard rail around the Suction Fan Motor, the employer allowed employees to work and walk near the pit opening where the top rail was 36" high and the mid-rail was 19" above the floor. b) On or about 1/25/17 at the guard rail around the air compressor near the Suction Fan Motor, the employees allowed employees to work and walk near the compressor where the top rail was 36" high and the mid-rail was 19" above the floor.
