29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Each authorized employee did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control: (a) On or about February 15, 2017 the employer did not ensure that each authorized employee cleaning or maintaining the foil press machines had received specific training on how to isolate and control each source of hazardous energy, including but not limited to hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical energy sources, exposing mechanics to hazards associated with the unexpected release of hazardous energy.
