29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: The employer is failing to protect employees from overhead impact hazards. This was most recently documented on October 17, 2016 at a worksite located at 7723 Heritage Highway, Jefferson City, Missouri where employees were working near overhead hazards such as the hoses and extensions of a concrete pumper truck without using hard hats. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
