29 CFR 1910.217(e)(1)(i): A program of periodic and regular inspections of mechanical power press(es) was not established and followed to ensure that all parts, auxiliary equipment and safeguards were in a safe operating condition and adjustment: On or about September 8, 2016, at the forming department of the above addressed jobsite, the employer did not have a program for inspecting mechanical power presses for uncovering unsafe conditions such as, but not limited to broken and/or cracked point of operation guards and pedals, adjustment of single-stroke mechanisms, etc.
