Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed: a) On or about 09/09/2016 at the Ovation line; where maintenance employees were exposed to arc flash injuries while troubleshooting "live" circuits, which were energized at 575 volts AC. Employees were not wearing protective eye/face protection, protective gloves, or arc flash rated clothing and did not have shirts buttoned all the way to the top with the sleeves rolled all the way down. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
