29 CFR 1926.350(a)(9): Compressed gas cylinders shall be secured in an upright position at all times except, if necessary, for short periods of time while cylinders are actually being hoisted or carried. a. On or about August 4, 2016, located on the 1st floor of the former Columbus Municipal Light Plant, there was an unsecured propane cylinder that had a regulator attached, thereby exposing the employees to a fire/explosion hazard.
