29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: (a)On or about July 27 2016, the employer failed to maintain all surfaces as free as practicable of accumulations of lead. Employees were exposed to surface accumulations of lead in the following instances: (1) In the employee restroom, on the sink faucet and handles, lead was present at 2016.3000 micrograms in a 100 square centimeter sample. In the employee restroom, on the light switch, lead was present at 71.2920 micrograms in a 100 square centimeter sample. (2) On a table in the range lobby, lead was present at 104.5000 micrograms in a 100 square centimeter sample. (3)On the counter inside the range attendant's booth, lead was present at 48.5030 micrograms in a 100 square centimeter sample. (4) On the kitchen counter, in front of the coffee maker and dish drying rack, lead was present at 13.7390 micrograms in a 100 square centimeter sample. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
