29 CFR 1917.112(c)(1): They [guardrails] shall be capable of withstanding a force of at least 200 pounds applied in any direction at mid-span of the top rail (when used), or at the uppermost point if there is no top rail: a) On or about August 16, 2016, employees were exposed to a fall hazard on the conveyor catwalk in the chemical dry warehouse building. The guardrails had deteriorated wooden top rails and toe boards.
