29 CFR 1910.179(g)(1)(v): Pendant control boxes shall be constructed to prevent electrical shock and shall be clearly marked for identification of functions. a. On or about July 18, 2016, located on a 5 ton Shepard Niles overhead crane, serial number 68768 there was a pendant control box that had its back open, exposing the operators to an electrical shock hazard of approximately 110 volts. Sancast was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard Section 5(a)(1)which was contained in OSHA inspection number 946923, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on May 28, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 535 Clow Lane Coshocton, Ohio 43812.
