29 CFR 1910.106(e)(6)(i): Adequate precautions were not taken to prevent the ignition of flammable vapors: The employer does not ensure an above ground storage tank containing diesel fuel is protected from ignition of flammable vapors. This violation was observed on or about September 30, 2016, behind the facility in the employee parking area, exposing employees to fire and explosion hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure vapors from the diesel are protected from potential ignition sources.
