29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each operator had successfully completed the training required by paragraph (l), except as permitted by paragraph (l)(5), prior to permitting an employee to operate a power industrial truck: The employer is failing to train employees on how to safely operate powered industrial trucks prior to use. The most recent occurrence of this was evident during the inspection of the facility located at 2215 Leavenworth St., Omaha, NE, where the employer has employees operating forklifts as a means of moving material and product throughout the facility without having been evaluated and certified.
