29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: On or about April 11, 2016, the employer did not provide effective information and training to machine operators, supervisors, and employees who work on A-Line and B-Line to include but not limited too hazards associated with chemicals, NFPA diamond labels, procedures, placards, work instructions, and how to detect chemical releases. Employees work with chemicals to include but not limited to etch, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and copper acid.
