29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a. 324A Half Acre Rd., Cranbury, NJ - Warehouse receiving dock The employer did not ensure emergency eyewash stations were available for immediate use by employees handling damaged goods that included, but were not limited to sulfuric acid. The employer allowed employees and temporary employees to place products, materials, and equipment in a manner that blocked the access to the eyewash station. Violation observed on or about July 6, 2016 b. 324A Half Acre Rd., Cranbury, NJ - Warehouse forklift charging area The employer did not ensure emergency eyewash stations were available for immediate use by employees handling powered industrial equipment batteries.
